Follow this steps: In Installation Directory renaming IDMGrHlp.exe stop sending fake serial popup
this is the quick fix at the moment C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Download Manager [64 bit OS] C:\Program Files \Internet Download Manager [32 bit OS] 1. Exit IDM from taskbar. 2. IDMGrHlp >>> Rename to >>> IDMGrHlp_old 3. Launch idm.exe, a popup will appear saying it can't find a file, click OK ...

*I would not advise to delete the file it maybe another fix also deleting this
file may have sort of unstable issue later on better to rename it for now...
